Debbie, I'm so sorry to learn about your husbands passing. I never did get a chance to meet him but knowing you meant that he had to be a "good guy". May the Lord bless his soul and bless you and your family.

Debbie, You have my deepest sympathy. I have such pleasant memories of visiting my cousins Jimmy and Kenny when we were all just kids. Then I had the pleasure of having "Mr. Hazlett" for study hall. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Hazlett was my homeroom teacher for 3 years. 1970-1972. I remember him loving Steve McQueen so much that he bought a green mustang like the one in the movie Bullet. He also had a poster of Steve in our homeroom. Mr. Hazlett was a very cool teacher! RIP

Jim Hazlett was one of the best teachers I ever had. He inspired me to be a reading and English teacher. He was witty, kind, and always generous with his time. I am so grateful to have known him.
My deepest condolences to his family. He will be missed.
