Pleasant, the daughter of the late Robert and Charolette E. Milligan Sheaffer. Jane was a graduate of Hurst High School. Shortly after graduation, she happily married her high school sweetheart, Paul Simmers. She was employed by the Mt. Pleasant school district as a bus driver for over 40 years. As a WCWTL member, her team has won the high game and high series awards many times. She has also been the captain of the WCWTL team, who have won six team championships. Her average is in the 170's. In addition to that, she was also a charter member of two other leagues, The Hillview Classic League 1961-62, and the Westmoreland County Women's Traveling League, as she was the last charter member still bowling in this league 1962-63. Her hobbies outside of bowling consisted of bocce, swimming, ceramics and reading. Jane was a beacon of kindness and generosity throughout her life.
