Mary Jean Stana

1925 - 2016

Mary Jean Stana, 90, of Churchville, passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at her residence holding the hand of her daughter. She was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, and was a daughter of the late Rudolph and Christina Oberdacker. She was a graduate of Hurst High School in Mt. Pleasant. Mary Jean came to live in Churchville with her daughter and son-in-law 37 years ago after the passing of her beloved husband, Martin. She was her daughter's shadow and lovingly included in soccer games, dinners and family gatherings. She was always an important part of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's lives and in prior years enjoyed being an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Women's Club. She was the beloved wife of the late Martin A. Stana; and the loving mother of Aleta Donaldson and her husband, Bill, Thomas Stana and his wife, Teri, and the late David Stana. She was the cherished grandmother of Jennifer Mueller (Scott), David Donaldson, Elizabeth McCourt (the late Tony), Andrew Stana, Matt Stana (Jenna); and the great-grandmother of eight. She was preceded in death by her six siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at CAMPBELL AND THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 905 Second St. Pike, Richboro, PA 18954, with her funeral Mass following at 11 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954. Her interment will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, in Visitation Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
