I met Rose playing basketball in the PGH women's city league in the early 1980's. She was a great person and always had the team in stiches with her great sense of humor. She consoled me through some troubling times and for that I will never forget. Her kind heart will be missed. Mariah "Baker" Hanson

As the youngest of the musical Schwartz family, Rosie was the closest to my age and I felt an instant connection when we first met; she was that welcoming. I always loved it when Rosie was "home" in Nazareth for Christmas or Easter because she would come and sing with us in the Alto section of the Holy Family Folk Group. Her warm smiles and hugs along with a little bit of mild mischief made holidays that much more festive for me. It comforts me to think that perhaps God called her home to him so she could brighten heaven while she was still in her prime. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten.

To The Schwartz Family:
Rosie is at God's side looking down at us. We will continue to love and be grateful for all the fond memories we have gathered throughout the years of Rosie. She no longer suffers. Through song and prayer we will keep her close. May the peace of Christ be with you.

Rest in peace Sister Rosie...anytime I saw you, there was a light emanating from your wondrous spirit. You are definitely one in a million touching so many lives. My Aunt Therese, a dear friend to you, will miss you terribly. My mom, Therese's sister Gerry, thought very highly of you and I know she greeted you in heaven with a big hug. Gone way too soon but forever remembered.
