Rosemary Black Obituary

Rosemary L. (Leone) Black, 79, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, May 4, 2005, in Greensburg Care Center. She was born July 15, 1925, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Louis E. Sr. and Ellen Costable Leone. She was member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, AARP, and the former Westmoreland County Constable's Women's Auxiliary. Prior to working for the Tribune-Review, she was an operator for Bell Telephone in Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer W. Black; and a brother, Louis E. Leone Jr. She is survived by four children, Suzanne Miller and husband, Rudy, of Hollywood, Fla., Lawrence Black and wife, Kay, of Baton Rouge, La., Timothy P. Black and wife, Linda, of Greensburg, and Anthony Black, of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Anthony, Theresa, Michelle and Christopher; a great-grandson, Caleb; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Rosemary from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, 724-837-0020. Prayers will be held in the funeral home at 9 a.m. Saturday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 Saturday in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg.
