Betty Ann Davis

Betty Ann Davis, 64, of Newark, Del., died Thursday, June 30, 2005 at Abington Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born Dec. 22, 1940 in Apollo, the daughter of the late Curtis Dee and Edna (Schriver) Held. A 1958 graduate of Apollo High School, she also graduated from Queens College of Charlotte, N.C., with a B.A. degree in English. An Administrative Assistant to the Head of Human Resources, she was an employee of Smith Barney of Wilmington, Del. She enjoyed reading, traveling, the outdoors and her family especially. Survivors include a daughter, Terri Lobo of Ambler; two granddaughters, Anna and Mary Lobo. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at 8 p.m. for relatives and friends at the EMIL J. CIAVARELLI FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES, 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler. Viewing will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Betty's name may be sent to the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 556, Ambler, PA 19002.
