Born April 29, 1913, in Harmarville, to the late Joseph and Anna Horny Musco, she lived in Harmar for 60 years.
She worked for Scaife Co. in Oakmont during World War II.
Mrs. Bodick was a volunteer worker at Allegheny Valley Hospital and Allegheny Valley School District in Acmetonia. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Harmar, where she was a charter member of the Christian Mothers. She was a licensed manicurist, enjoying crafts and playing cards.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen (Arthur) Ravenda of Lower Burrell, and Mrs. Patricia M. (John) Pizzella of Harmar, a son, Joseph J. (Evalyn) Bodick Jr. of Springdale Township; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Bodick Sr.; a son, Andrew Bodick; two grandsons, Jeffrey Ravenda and David Bodick; six brothers, Stephen, Joseph, Thomas, John, Paul and Michael Musco; and two sisters, Anna Waynar and Mary Dennis.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in SPRINGDALE at the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St. Christian funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis of Assisi Church by the Rev. Hugh McCormley. Burial will follow in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar. Memorial contributions may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffet St., Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
