Born Oct. 25, 1922, in Freeport, he lived in Coos Bay and also had a winter home in Casa Grande, Ariz. A World War II veteran, he served with the Army 1st Special Services in North Africa and Italy. He worked at Weyerhaeuser, North Bend, Ore., before retiring in 1982. Mr. Reigard also played bass fiddle in a band with his brothers, who performed during the 1950s and 1960s at clubs in the Valley and in Oregon. Mr. Reigard was a member of the Southwestern Oregon Community College budget committee, Coos County Sanitary District, Democratic Central Committee, Pacific Fish Enhancement Corp., Charleston Food Bank, North Bend Lions and American Legion, Empire Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the IWA, all of Oregon. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Debor Reigard; a son, Chuck (Toni) Reigard of Coos Bay; a daughter, Catherine Inocencio of Eugene, Ore.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Reigard of Coos Bay; Donald Reigard and Joseph Reigard, both of Casa Grande, and Kenneth Reigard of Warren; and three sisters, Bertha Dale of Myrtle Point, Ore., Dorothy Mangol of Tarentum and Fay Gigollito of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse J. and Margaret Emma Adams Reigard; and three brothers, Jesse, Harry and Louis Reigard.
