James Shaw Obituary

James R. Shaw, 56, of Cabot, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at his son's residence. He was born Sept. 14, 1950, in Butler to Annabelle (Willison) Shaw, of Sarver, and the late James L. Shaw. Mr. Shaw served in the Army during Vietnam, was a shipping coordinator for Clark Screw and Machine Products and an active member of Lighthouse Fellowship, Sarver, and spent more than 15 years as the Saxonburg Girls Softball League coach. Also surviving are his wife, Marilyn (Colen) Shaw, whom he married April 6, 1974; sons, James R. Shaw Jr., of Slippery Rock, and Jason J. (Sarah) Shaw, of Butler; daughters, Amber L. (Ryan) Bowser, of Sarver, and Amanda M. and Angel E. Shaw of Cabot; brother, John Shaw, of East Brady; sister, Gloria Campbell, of Florida; four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the FOX FUNERAL HOME INC., 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg, where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Richard Shick officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Lighthouse Fellowship, 130 Lucas Lane, Sarver, PA 16055.
