Linda G. Bellomo

Linda Gail Bellomo, 82, of Deerfield Beach, Fla., formerly of New Kensington, passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, while in hospice care at Broward Health North Hospital, in Deerfield Beach, Fla. Linda was born July 21, 1941, in Natrona Heights, the daughter of the late Charles "Chuck" Carney and Betty Bergstrom Carney. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Peter "Pete" Bellomo; son, Sam (Linda) Bellomo, of Hillsboro, Va.; son, Robert "Bob" (Carolyn) Bellomo, of Virginia; five grandchildren, Lindsi Gibello (Sam), of Colorado Springs, Colo., David Bellomo, of Manassas, Va., Katie Bellomo, of Hillsboro, Va., Krystle Bellomo, of Virginia, and Megan Bellomo, of Virginia. Linda was a 1959 graduate of Har-Brack High School in Natrona Heights. She was Har-Brack's head majorette and consistently maintained an "A" average throughout school. She loved teaching her peers to dance at "Chuck's" which was her father's sporting goods, billiards and hamburger grill establishment in Natrona Heights, that was open to all youth to enjoy social activities. Linda and Pete were married Sept. 24, 1960, and raised their two sons on Clyde Street in New Kensington. Linda worked as a part-time cash office clerk for Krogers and Foodland, but spent the majority of her time caring for her family and home. In 2000, Linda and Pete sold their Clyde Street home and moved to Monroeville, where they began spending the winter months in Florida. In 2009, they bought a condo in Century Village, Deerfield Beach, Fla., and made it their full-time home. Linda loved cooking, baking and hosting holiday dinners for her cherished family and friends. She will be entombed in the mausoleum at Union Cemetery, Arnold. A private memorial service will be conducted by Linda's immediate family at a later date. ROSS G.
