Nancy Cehily Obituary

Nancy R. Cehily, 49, of Lower Burrell, died Monday (March 24, 2003) in her home.

She was born March 22, 1954, in Harrison. She was a 1972 graduate of Kiski Area High School. Mrs. Cehily worked in the packing department at PPG, East Deer Works, for 27 years. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell. She enjoyed baking, cooking, animals and spending time with children. Survivors include her husband, John R. Cehily; two sons, John R. Cehily and Brandon R. Cehily, both at home; a daughter, Kayleigh L. Cehily at home; mother, Betty Heckman Shutt of Washington Township; a brother, Clyde (Natalie) Shutt of West Leechburg; and a sister, Mrs. Barbara (Tim) Steinback of Washington Township. She is also survived by a nephew, Michael Shutt of West Leechburg; and a niece, Mallory Shutt of West Leechburg. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph E. Shutt. She was also preceded in death by a niece, Sonya Steinback. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME, 2877 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Margaret Mary Church by the Rev. William Berkey. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
