Rosalia Salem Obituary
She was born April 29, 1921, in New Kensington. Ms. Salem was a sales associate at Silvermen's Department Store, New Kensington, and was proprietor of St. Cloud Hotel, East Brady, from 1963 until retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. She enjoyed gardening, decorating and playing cards. Survivors include three nephews; and her companion with whom she lived, Samuel F. Ansilio. Her nephews are James (Dena), Richard and William (Jennifer) Salem. She also is survived by six great-nephews, Thomas, James, Nathan, Jon, William and Michael Salem; two great-nieces, Tiffany and Laura Salem; a great-great-nephew, Anthony Salem; a great-great-niece, Isabella Salem; her companion's daughters, Mrs. Jeannie (Rick) Koedel and Pam Steiner; and her companion's grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sahid and Afifa Amen Salem; and two brothers, William and James Salem. Private arrangements are under the care of RUSIEWICZ FAMILY OF FUNERAL DIRECTORS, Arnold and Lower Burrell.
