Michael Fowlkes Obituary

Tacoma, Washington - Michael was born at Mt. Home AFB, ID on August 10, 1974. He attended Sheridan Elementary, McIlvaigh Junior High, and graduated from Lincoln High school. Mike was a loving father, brother, uncle, and loyal friend. People were guaranteed to smile and laugh within the first minute of talking to him. He was an avid artist who had a gift for drawing. He enjoyed fishing and loved animals. He is survived by his son, Michael Jr, his daughter, Briael, his siblings: June, Joy (Tim), Lawrence Jr. (Kim), and Marsha. He is also survived by his nephews and niece: Darian, Javon (Janelle), Marae (Cameron), Devin, and Joshua. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Lawrence and Emiko. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

My heart is truly broken. I just found out that Mike passed. This was my running buddy from Sheridan and McIlvaigh. I have fond memories of hanging out at his house when we were kids. I remember his parents and his sister Joy and nephew Javon.
