Home on leave in 1963, Larry met his future bride, Sandra Manuel. They were married on June 21, 1964. At the completion of his service with the Marine Corps, Larry accepted a job as a typesetter for the Orange County Register in Santa Ana, CA.
In 1969, Larry and Sandra were excited to start their family with the adoption of their baby boy, Eric. In 1971, their daughter, Heather was born. Larry and Sandra bought their lovely little farmhouse in Kennewick in 1979. Holly was added to the family that year and Katie was born in 1985.
