Rosie Mae Herrmann of Grandview, WA, went to sleep in death on Sunday, October 15, 2006, at Sunnyside, WA, at the age of 84. She was deeply loved and cared for by her family and many friends.

She is survived by her three sons: Jim Lynn & wife Delores of Sunnyside; Terrance Dean & wife Carol of Sunnyside; and John Arthur of Grandview; a grandson, Barry James & wife Lou of Kirkland, WA; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn of Kennewick, WA.

Rosie was the 4th of the 12 children born to John and Marguerite Simpson in Ajlune, WA, moved to Outlook, WA, at the age of 6, then later to Sunnyside and then Grandview. She graduated from Sunnyside High School.

She was preceded in death by parents, her husband, Arthur John, and her brothers; Denny John Simpson, Lewis Edgar Simpson, Ervin Leroy Simpson and Norman Dale Simpson and a sister Vera Cleone Pingle.

She is survived by her siblings; Vernon Lee Simpson of Yakima; Leonard Verrill Simpson (wife Lorraine) of Sumner; Martha Cole of Vancouver; Verna Coleman of Richland; Mary Ellen Smith of Bellingham; and Naomi Lindsey (husband LB) of Eatonville as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rosie, along with her husband Arthur, worked for American Wine Growers (now Ste. Michelle Wine Estates) for many years, both in the vineyards and as an office clerk at the Grandview Vineyards.

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 63 years, she always had a deep love for Jehovah God and for people. She spent a great deal of time sharing her knowledge of the Bible with others, and raised her sons to do the same.

Memorial Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 2291 Tear Road, Grandview, WA, on Saturday, October 21, at 1:30 p.m.
