Marilyn Schiavo Obituary
The daughter of the late Peter Paloscio and Helen Briskovich Paloscio, she was born in Brooklyn, NY, in the county of Kings, on August 15, 1933. She was 80 at the time of her death.
Marilyn was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and adored her great granddaughter. She will truly be missed by all.
Her heart was full of love, and it affected everyone she met in the most positive way. She made loving others easy because she understood how tenuous life is.
Amazing only comes in small doses, and she gave everyone a large dose. There will always be a smile for her, as she always had one for everyone else.
She is survived by her two children, daughter Lisa Walczyk and her husband Steven of Beach Lake, PA and her son Christian Schiavo and his wife Donna of Beach Lake, PA, along with her eight grandchildren Michael, Jamie, Jessica, Steven, Casey, Alli, Annie and John Walczyk as well as her great granddaughter Allie Madison Walczyk.
Also, her brothers Richard and Douglas Paloscio with sisters Barbara Simon, Cheryl Damato and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband Anthony Schiavo, her sister Linda Williams and brother Westley Paloscio.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, Beach Lake, PA.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rasmussen Funeral Home, Narrowsburg, NY. 845-252-3901.
