Raymond L. Dawkins

Raymond L Dawkins, age 87, of Trumbull, passed away, March 10, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital

He was born in Litchfield, IL to the late Raymond G and Hilda Dawkins and was a longtime Trumbull resident

Mr Dawkins retired from Olin Corporation where he was Audit Manager of Corporate Policy & Procedure An army veteran, he proudly served our country during WWII

Mr Dawkins was an active parishioner at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, serving as an usher and a member of the lawn crew

He is survived by his three children, Laura Kissane and her husband Richard of East Quogue, NY, Cynthia Csordas and her husband Stephen of Sandy Hook, CT and Michael Dawkins and his wife Leslie of Monroe, CT; four grandchildren Matthew, Kaitlyn, David and Karl and his wife Amanda; two great grandchildren, Alexis and Sophia; his sister Iris Jubelt of MT Olive, IL and several nieces and nephews

He was predeceased by his wife Reva (Irvin) Dawkins

Friends and family are invited to attend his services on Saturday at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 5995 Main St Trumbull with the Rev Emil Witschy officiating Inurnment in Nichols Village Cemetery immediately after Friends may greet the family on Saturday at the church at 9:00 am until the time of service
