My condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends. It was a privilege to work with him. I always appreciated his honesty, willingness to explain answers (there was never a lack of clarity after a Chuck explanation!) and do the right thing. I will miss him and may he rest in peace.

I remember first meeting Chuck at GD Rancho when he and I worked on Stinger together. Chuck was always a good guy and treated everybody with respect. When we all came out to Tucson, I was fortunate enough to see Chuck every now and then and we would chat about the good old days at Rancho. Chuck will be missed. My deepest condolences to Chuck's family.

I was shocked today to find out my friend, Chuck Forste, had passed. My sincere condolences to Chuck's family.
Chuck and I became friends at General Dynamics in Rancho Cucamonga and then on to Raytheon in Tucson. Chuck had a great smile and laugh and I remember he so often talked about his family!! He was a hard-working person, giving whatever project he was working on -- his all. Chuck will be missed by all that knew and cared for him. I just cannot believe it.

Chuck was a friend, mentor and educator to many of us. His willingness to always share his knowledge as well as delve deeply into problems are only two characteristics that endeared him to so many of us. Chuck broke the mold. And he would be delighted that he had broken the mold! Deepest sympathy to your family in your time of grief.

I was privileged to work very closely with Chuck for over 10 years and count him a friend. In recent years I've called on Chuck for advice which he gave with good humor. In the past couple of days I've traded messages with some of our Army customers and key suppliers over the sad news of Chuck's passing. We all agree - He was a great guy and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts are with Susan and his family in their loss.
