Sissy was a former resident of Geiger in Sumter County and had lived in the Aliceville and Carrollton areas of Pickens County for the past 21 years. She loved family, children, and Alabama football. She was a retired employee of The Prescription Shop in Carrollton. Sissy had an uncanny knack of remembering everyone's name and family connections. One way she showed her love for family and friends was through cooking. Particular favorites were her peanut brittle and chicken dumplings. She was a member of the Carrollton United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Louis Rogers Watt, Ernie Watt, David Drewry, David Walker, Louis Watt, Michael Mayfield, Alex Mayfield, Neel Alexander, Bryan Walker, and Bobby Adams.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Carrollton First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 145, Carrollton, AL 35447; Geiger United Methodist Church, 233 Kirkland Ave., Geiger, AL 35459; or the charity of one's choice.
