Hi Jo & Beloved Family - I can't express deeply enough how Jim and I feel in losing Charlie (Our Dear Friend) to his illnesses. You and Charlie are such dear friends to us that I could actually write a book on things that we have done and times we have spent together. But I just want to sum up these strong feelings I am feeling to tell you we are so devestated for you and all your family. Noone can know what all of you are feeling at this time. I just want to say that Jim and I will never forget all those fun trips (first Queensway than the Grotto conventions) the many games of cards played and we tried our best to beat you but you and Charlie were pros at the games we played (as you are at all card games) but we tried. Our family get togethers when our family was younger and most of all just our quiet evenings when we didn't care what we were doing because we were all together. Jo, we have met some wonderful friends through you and Charlie and I have to say you do have a LOT of friends. You know that they are all here for you and your chldren and your grandchildren. Charlie was a great guy and added so much not only to the community he represented so strongly but he added so much in every thing he got involved in. Jim and I just want you to know at this time that we miss Charlie so much right now but we watched him suffer along with you. We know that he is in the right place and that is the only satisfaction we can feel is that Charlie has to suffer no more. You know you can ask us for anything!! We are there to help you. Just remember we love you all and will always be there for you and the family.

Love ya

Jim and Carol and all our families

I will miss you my fishing buddy!

Jo & Family - I just learned of your loss today reading the local paper. Charlie was such a people person! My family will miss him in the Stockyards Days parade. He sure gave our kids a thrill ten years ago when they were starting to not believe in Santa anymore, and then Santa showed up at our family gathering on Christmas Eve. . . Thank you Charlie!

We have lots of fond memories of Charlie, and we share your grief in his sudden passing.

Dear Greg, Cindy, Pam and Marty:

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a parent seems to leave an empty hole that can only be softened with happy memories and time, but can never be filled. Remember the good times that we all shared with you and your dad . Remember the camping trips, softball games and sliding down your back hill in the winter. The coming months won't be easy for any of you, even as adults we need our parents. I still miss my dad after 9 years, and wish that I could hear his voice just one more time. Take care of your mom (Auntie Jo) she needs your love and comfort most of all. My prayer is for God's strength and peace to surround each of you in this very difficult time.

Rest in the Lords peace Uncle Chuck.

My prayers are with each of you - Auntie Jo, Greg, Cindy, Pam and Marty.

Love,

Nancy

Dear Joanne,

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. We know that Thelma and Theron greatly appreciated having you as their neighbors, and all the help you and Charlie gave to them when they were alive. We will never forget the love and support you gave our family during the times when we lost Dad, and then Mom. We wish we could be there personally to support you at this difficult time. Since we can't be there, we will keep you in our prayers, knowing that God will give you strength and comfort in your sadness. Lean on Him.

Love,
