Dear Dori and Family, We are so sorry for the loss of Ed. We have many fond memories of all of you when we were neighbors. Dad so enjoyed farming on the land he rented from you. You and Ed will always be remembered as being so kind and gracious to us. I'll never forget how you came to Mom's wake last year to support us. May God give you strength in the coming days. Thank you for providing us with special thoughts and memories.

Dori and family,

Ed was the only Coca-Cola speculator I ever met. When the company announced "New Coke," Ed filled the pole shed with case, after case, after case, of the original. I believe it lasted just long enough for the company to unveil "classic Coke."

I also remember the time he emptied all the air out of my tires, thinking I was a burglar, while we were out having a bonfire at "the farm." When we arrived back at the shed, there were police everywhere and Ed had parked his truck right on my bumper. Of course, he was kind enough to fill them back up for me.

He was a dear man and a good friend whose passion for hunting and the outdoors was certainly passed on to his sons. North Dakota trips will never be the same again.

Although I haven't seen Ed in 10 years or better, I will miss his sense of humor greatly. Words can certainly do nothing to fill the void of his passing, but I hope his family finds solace in the fact that Ed's joy and humor affected so many people.

Dori, Jim, Mike, and Julie, please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of your loving husband and father. You are in our thoughts and prayers and we mourn with you.
