Edna Margaret Alford

Alford, Edna Margaret - Wife, Mom, Grandma Born 10/1/1925 - Died 2/2/2004 Preceded in death by: her parents, Henry & Anna Moser; sister, Anna Wilbur; recently (12/27/03); by her much loved husband, Edmond; and son, Richard. Survived by her daughter, Roxie, son-in-law, Patrick and their daughter, Kati; Rick's daughter, Kerstin; and treasured cousins and friends, Michele & Cathy. Edna and Eddie had a love for each other that comes around once every couple of millennia. When Eddie died, Edna died too. It just took a few weeks for her soul to catch up to her heart. Edna spent her life being an inquisitor and an encourager and the one who who painted silver linings in grey clouds. Right now she is probably greeting old friends and new, and most likely trying to feed people. Now it's time for us to paint those grey clouds for ourselves and others. Profound thanks to Pastor Joy Johnson & Intern Steve Floftad for their many spiritual blessings. There are no words to adequately express gratitude to the staff & volunteers at the Pillars Hospice. Their gentle and thoughtful care will always be remembered. Dear Family & Friend, so many of you gave generous memorials in Eddie's name and sent cards and flowers, don't think it necessary to repeat this for Edna.
