I remember Hal from our days in the army reserves and at numerous social occasions. He was a true gentleman with a disarming smile and quick, insightful sense of humor. I'm saddened to read of his untimely passing.
May God comfort those he loved.

Hal was a true friend. One of the best to us. Our relationship goes back to the 1970s when we worked together at Minnesota Mutual. We continued to stay in close contact all through the years long after we both left MML. I'll miss the periodic lunches, but mostly the big smile and upbeat attitude. Peace to your soul, Hal, my good friend and codolences to his close family, especially Gertrude, Kathy, Laura and Maddie.
