Chief,
It's been a month and I (just like others) miss you.
It's hard being at the ball fields without your stories, pockets of beer (filled with ice) and the smile you always had while there...
Keep watching over all of us, because we are ALL still thinking about and loving you coach...

Laura,
Roger just called me to tell me that he ran into you at Walgreens and that you had told him about Jim. I'm so sorry that I wasn't there for you at the visitation and funeral. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Kathryn,
I just heard the news of Jim's passing. I am so sorry my sisters and I were not with you at the visitation and funeral. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. I will forever remember Jim coaching the Blessed Sacrament baseball team to the Twin City Championship when I was a little kid way back in 1964. It was fun reliving that memory with him when I saw him a couple of years ago. I know that you take comfort knowing that he is in Heaven.
With loving sympathy,
Mark Hartman

Chief,
I hope you understood the impact you had on all of us. You gave us the chance to play a game we love and without you getting that team together, I may have never met some of the guys that are now great friends.
You changed the way I look at life, the game and I can't thank you enough.
We love ya coach.....
