The suddenness is an enormous shock for all of you and hope that in light of that shock it may have spared lots of suffering. God Bless you all.

Kathy, family and friends, I will always remember the kindness and generosity that Nels exuded whenever I saw him professionally (since that is how I knew him). I always felt welcomed as a friend, despite being just a colleague.
