Paul and Ruby Hoffman

Paul W. Hoffman of Eugene, Ore. died July 24, 2009 of kidney failure. He was 98 years old. He was born on Mar. 12, 1911 in Tribune, Kan. to Robert and Stella Sutton Hoffman. He married Ruby Meyer on May 27, 1946 in Eugene, Ore. Hoffman attended schools in the Goshen area and graduated from Eugene Bible College. He served in the Army in WWII as a medic in a hospital unit. He worked as a carpenter in heavy construction and was an ordained minister in the Assembly of God church.

Survivors include his wife, daughter Susan Jim, a sister Celia Anderson and six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A son, James, died previously.

He and his wife, Ruby, were instrumental in rebuilding the Wanteck Church that burnt down on Jan 10, 1973. They were both wonderful people and loved the people on the river of Klamath very much. Their hearts were still with us at Wanteck.

Ruby N. Meyer Hoffman was a graduate of Lodi high School, Sacramento Nursing School ad Eugene Bible College. She worked as a surgical nurse at Lodi Memorial Hospital and was an ordained minister of the Assembly of God church.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Jim, brother Hago Meyer of Cal., six grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren. A son, James Hoffman, died previously.

She was born on June 3, 1921 and passed away Oct. 12, 2009. They (Paul and Ruby) were married 63 years. It was only three months separating them in death. They are with the Lord God in heaven. They were wonderful people. Their live in Missionary Miracle Graves is missing them very much. The Inurnment will be held at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, Calif. on November 6 at 2:00 p.m.
