Tom and I shared a love for growing grapes in the hostile tundra of the Midwest, and shared many good times watching the grapes grow (and crossing our fingers). His contributions to the grape-growers of this region were surpassed only by his warm and generous personality -- always upbeat, always a smile. Our sympathies to Deb and the rest of his family.
