Dear Ms Young: I never got a chance to go to your memorial service, but I did want you to know that you were an important person to me. You made me feel loved and for that I am forever grateful. You brought two of my best friends into this world. You will be missed more than words can express. I wish I could be with your children during this time, but I know that they know I am there in spirit. I love you Zula. You made me a better person from knowing you. I will think of you and be running the LA marathon in your honor. You will be painfully missed...but when it gets sad, I will think of all that you've done for me and smile. <3

Prior to this summer it had been years since i was in contact with the family. This summer i sat with you on your porch and had a very meaningful conversation. Zula girl, we met in our teen years, lived together in our young adult years, drifted away from each other & re- united in our mature years. You were there for me after i had my little "bout" of illness; you called me every day, or i'd call you. Z, you were always such a good listener to all my ups & downs; we laughed together so many days, & it just made me feel good talking to you, knowing our time was running short. I'll always regret not being the special frind to you that you were to me....I'LL MISS YOU' LIL SISTER~~~

We became friends first, but that wasn't enough. We then became "sisters", & that's whats up! We grew up, went our own seperate ways, but nothing could separate our "sister-ship".
