Patricia A. Welch
Pat was one of seven children. She went to 13 different schools before graduating from high school. She would say she never minded moving so often because she always had her siblings/friends with her. Pat met and married Pete Welch in Santa Barbara before moving to Ukiah. They were married for 60 years.
Pat had 5 children Molly Schultz – husband Bob, Steve Welch – wife Dawn, Shannon Welch Johnson – husband Jorgen and two daughters who preceded her in death; Judith Ann and Candi Asbra Miller. Pat has 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and was fortunate to have 6 great great grandchildren.
Pat was an avid gardener, quilter, water colorist and runner. At the age of 62 she held a National record for a 13 mile race. After she could no longer run she walked at least 2 miles a day well into her 90's. We would like to thank Perla and her wonderful staff at Holy Spirit for Pat's kind care. Also, thank you to Shelley at Hospice of Ukiah.
A private family service will be held, with a celebration of life at a later date.
She was the heart of our family and will be missed by all.
Eversole Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

I worked with Pat at Esthers many years ago. I don’t think there was ever a day that Pat wasn’t upbeat, always with a smile or a laugh. Fond memories of a wonderful woman. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

Dear Molly, Steve, Shannon & families ~ if I'm doing my math correctly, on St. Patrick's Day Pat would have made it to 100. Instead, God decided she needed to celebrate with Pete and your sisters at the most awesome party imaginable. Sincere sympathy in the loss of your dear mother. How lucky she was to have all of you and how lucky for you to have had her for so many years. Pat's in a marathon in Heaven I'm sure!
