Hubert Cote Obituary
Born in Riviere-du-Loup, Canada on Oct. 2, 1938, he was the son of Albert Cote and Evelyne Gagne Cote. Prior to retirement at age 80, he had worked in construction for many years for companies including Manganaro, JP Therma Foam, Metropolitan Partitions, Northeast, LIF Industries Inc., Auto Fair, and Green Mountain.
Hubert had a passion for golf, horseracing, playing pool and the piano. His love for these activities was only surpassed by his love for his family, with whom he enjoyed spending time. Hubert's memory will be cherished by his loved ones and those who knew him, and his presence will be deeply missed.
Family members include his loving significant other of 35 years, Andree Lavoie of Manchester; his children, Johanne (Cote) Lewis of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Nathalie Cote of Florida, Sylvie (Cote) Redburn and John of Candia, N.H., Manon (Cote) Silveri and Andy of Florida, David Cote and his wife, Wendy, of South Carolina; Andree's children Eric Lavoie and his wife, Casey, of Goffstown, N.H., Isabelle (Lavoie) Cornell and her husband, Casey of Greenfield, New York; 14 grandchildren, Norris, Christopher, Jake, Wyatt, Jaron, Patrick, Jet, Kaitlyn, Brady, Megan, Rylee, Makayla, Avery and Sydney, and one great-granddaughter, Charlotte; siblings, Herve Cote and Lynn of Quebec, Canada, Colombe (Cote) Gosselin and her husband, Jacques, of Quebec; many nephews, nieces, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Rejeanne Cote of Riviere-du-Loup.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., will be Sunday, July 23, from 4-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 24, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belmont St.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the N.H. Alzheimer's Association, 15 Constitution Drive, Suite 1G, Bedford, NH 03110.
