I'm sorry to learn of Lucille's passing today. I would have liked to attend her wake & funeral. I met Mrs. Lagasse when she recruited me to work on the Reagan campaign at the age of 19. She was a bright light and a very special, unique lady. My condolences to her family.

Dearest Aunt Lucille - She was a woman who welcomed everyone into her home and heart. Loved and lived her life to the fullest, writing many chapters of her journeys throughout. She was truly an amazing woman and will certainly be missed.

Aunt Lucille was my role model of how I wanted to be when I grew up. Always have a positive attitude and think good of everyone. I loved her laughter, her infectious smile and her many stories. I was blessed to have had her and her sister (my mother) as role models.

As she was in life, may she be the glow that lights the way.
Special memory of her leaning over my bed to "kiss an angel good morning". Proof that angels kiss angels. Bless you Aunt Loucile. Love

I feel blessed and priviledge to have Aunt Lucy as my relative. She was kind, loving, and generous to us all. There were no strangers to her. She was a very important link in our family, a treasure I will always cherish. I am most proud of her for the family reunions she arranged and that she wrote her book at age 86. Bravo, Aunt Lucy. You lived life!!

My most sincere condolences to Lucille's family and loved ones. My last visit with Lucille was two summers ago, when we exchanged memories of our mutual ancestors on the Lagassee side. She loved people and she loved sharing who she was. Lucille was a warm, delightful person. She cherished her family and was proud of her home on the lake. I treasure fond memories of her. ~Jeannine (Methot) Cote

As a long time volunteer and Board member at the ACGS, I looked forward to seeing Lucille at our conferences or any other time. She WAS a pioneer and strong advocate for the Society, and a wonderful human being. I always chuckled to see her spry and energetic in her sneakers - holding court with the many friends and fans she made. She always reminded me of the "Memere"s I had growing up - to me, an ultimate tribute.
She will be missed and I send my condolences to her family.
