WEST WINFIELD
Adrian D. Gorton, 50, of West Winfield, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He was born on May 5, 1964, in Ilion, the son of Thomas and Linda (Gorton) Wilson. Adrian was a graduate of Mount Markham Central School. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Jenny Wilson, and an uncle, Harold Wheatley. He was predeceased by a sister, Amber Wilson, and aunt, Delores Wheatley. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in care of Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Homes, 365 West Main St., West Winfield. Messages of sympathy at www.dfwefh.com

Abe was a sweet guy. I used to see him outside the Victory Market a lot. He'd be standing, having a soda. I can still hear his voice. He had a beautiful head of sandy brown hair, perfectly sculpted around his face. Freckles.....we were both filled with them. I remember him so youthful, so filled with life. He would make a joke and chuckle/ smirk in his crass way. So smart. That's who he was to me. RIP.

i went to high school with Abe, played football and always had simple general fun with Abe, God bless you Abe, you will always be remembered and respected

My teen years episode not have been the sane without Abe. A teammate from Little League ans high school football as well as a good friend, we made many memories together. Years often drift people apart but childhood friends are forever. I miss you already Abe.
