Irene Bulak Obituary
NEW YORK MILLS - Irene W. Bulak, 85, passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2019.
She was born on April 19, 1934, the youngest child of Wladyslaw and Czeslawa Wereszynski.
On August 8, 1953, she was united in marriage to Chester Bulak, a loving union until his death in 1994. From that blessed union, came their cherished family: daughter, Debbie and husband, Carl Hornesky and their sons, Josh and Chris; son, Richard and wife, Lori Bulak and their three children, Justin and wife, Cassie and children, Jackson and Mackenzie, Jessica and husband, Mike Serafin and son, Cole and Zachary Bulak. Additional survivors include brother-in-law, Stanley Gacek; sister-in-law, Denise Wereszynski; as well as extended family members and special friends. Irene was predeceased in death by her brothers, Stanley, Vincent, Zigmund, Edward and Henry; and sister, Jane Ulinski.
Irene was first employed as a telephone operator by the New York Telephone Company and later by Verizon. She retired with over 36 years of dedicated service.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church. Those who wish may call on Wednesday (today) from 4 -7 p.m. at the Kowalczyk Funeral Home, 284 Main St., New York Mills. Burial will take place in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
