Charles Bothwell Obituary
December 7th, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joanne Claire Bothwell, his four
children, Robert, Michael, Tim, and Patricia, eleven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Charles, "Chuck," was born on February 27th, 1927 in Combes, Texas.
He graduated from Carrollton High School in Ohio. He served in the Navy during World War II. After his service, he moved back to the Rio Grande Valley and started Bothwell Electric Company. He was an avid
fisherman for redfish, trout, and flounder in the Laguna Madre for 70 years.
A visitation service will be held at Del Angel Funeral Home - Mont Meta in San Benito, Texas on Friday, December 10th, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Harlingen, Texas on Saturday, December 11th, at 9 am, followed by an entombment at Mont Meta Cemetery.
Flowers and donations can be sent to Joanne Bothwell at 1001 S Ed Carey Drive Unit 147, Harlingen, TX 78552.

Jodi, Bob, Mike, Tim, Trisha & Grands, My deepest condolences to you all. Chuck was truly a genuine, one of a kind, loving man. Too many fond memories to write about here but every thought of him brings a smile to my heart. May your cherished memories bring you each comfort and peace.

Jodie, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers..we remember all the good times we had with the two of you. All the Shanghai Rummy card games, dancing on the Rio Grande, the trips and dinners. We will always miss the "bulldog". He was unforgettable.. Our love is with you all.
