Victoria Kay "Vikki" Clark

Harlingen, Texas - On Monday, February 26, 2023, Victoria Kay "Vikki" Clark, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, Nina and Nana, was carried away by angels peacefully at the age of sixty-seven.

She was born October 14, 1955 to Cecil and Marjorie SoRell in San Benito, Texas. Vikki was a graduate of Harlingen High School, Class of 1973. She married her high school sweetheart, John T. Clark, on October 6, 1973. Vikki and John were happily married for forty-nine years.

Vikki grew up in the Valley on a farm with her four siblings and enjoyed working alongside her dad. She was proud to be a farmer's daughter and loved being on her horse.

She had many jobs while on this Earth, a mother, a grandmother, a homemaker, a loving wife, and a wonderful cook. Her children and grandchildren were her life and they will always cherish and hold dear the wonderful memories she helped make for them. When Vikki was near, there was always laughter in the air, as well as fond family memories and stories to tell. Those that knew her loved her humor and her joy for life.

Vikki is preceded in death by her son, Matthew Ray Clark; her mother, Marjorie SoRell; and brother, Russell Wayne SoRell.

Left to treasure Vikki's memory is her husband, John T. Clark; her children, Kimberly (John) Scherler of Richfield, Ohio and John (Christina) Clark of St. Maries, Idaho; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her father, Cecil SoRell; sister, Cyndy (Darell) Newport; brother, Thomas SoRell; sister-in-law, Jan SoRell; many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved boxer, Jessie.
