James R. Kenney Sr.

White River Junction, VT - James R. Kenney Sr., 67, died June 24, 2023 at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, NH following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Boston, MA., on February 20, 1956 the son of Thomas and Catherine (Tucker) Kenney. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army.

He held membership in American Legion, Post 1 in Woodsville, NH. He loved spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, fishing and fast cars.

Family members include his wife of 43 years, Jacqueline "Jaye" (Therrien) Kenney, three children; James R. Kenney Jr., Phillip Kenney and his wife, Jillian all of Canaan, April Kenney of E. Bridgewater. MA., three grandchildren; Jillian Blumenthal, Madison Feetham, Hazel R. Kenney, one brother; Frank Kenney, two sisters; Mary Kenney, Debbie Nassar, two brothers in law; Maurice Therrien Jr., Charles Therrien and his wife, Susan, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by one sister; Donna Kenney and one brother, Paul Kenney.

There will be private services held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations my be made in Jim's name to the Jack Byrnes Center For Palliative & Hospice Care, 151 Medical Loop Rd., Lebanon NH, 03756.
