Mr. Oliver was a roommate to my uncle Pete (Leon) Eckert for a few months at the Goodall-Witcher Nursing Facility. Our family appreciated his sweet, gentle manner with everyone he met. He was a good companion for my uncle who was nearly blind. The two of them would sit in the lobby for several hours a day -- just sitting quietly or reminiscing about when they were both young and living in the Cayote area. Even at his advanced age, Mr. Oliver was ministering to those around him. Blessed be his memory.
