Fay Turner Obituary
Fay Turner was born Feb. 3, 1923, in Grimes County. She was the daughter of Lucy Dorsey and Houston Bookman. Fay was a domestic mother and Carver Park's neighborhood babysitter for many many years. She loved children and people which gave her a special relationship with many. She was a mother and grandmother to many others and was known for cooking, and especially her baking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Luticua Johnson.
She is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Turner Taylor of Ft. Worth, and Denise Turner Taylor; seven grandchildren, William Johnson and wife, Peggy, John Johnson and wife, Linda, Keith Johnson and wife, Starr, Jermaine Taylor, Trina Taylor, Reliford Irving and wife, Sandra, all of Ft. Worth, and Felicia Taylor; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends who were blessed to have known her.

Will, You are truly blessed to have had such a beautiful grandmother in your life. I feel your loss, but know that you celebrate her beng at home with our Father. You and your family are in my prayers and I know God is holding you close and providing comfort in knowing you will be together again one day. Now I understand where you learned to be such a light unto others as you have been there for me in hard times. All my love, thoughts and prayers go out to you.
