Jean D. Haskell

1927 - 2021

Jean D. Haskell (Dermott), age 93, of Milford and formerly of Ruskin, FL and Waltham passed away on February 3, 2021 after a period of declining health. Jean was the devoted, loving wife of the late Lt. Bobby C. Haskell of the Waltham Fire Department. Mrs. Haskell was born on December 15, 1927 in Waltham to the late Harry and Madeline (Allen) Dermott. She worked as a bookkeeper for over twenty years for Green Acres Day School and Camp until her retirement in 1989, when she and Bob moved to Florida. Jean loved Florida. She loved her life in Hawaiian Isles RV park. She enjoyed shopping, crafts and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed traveling with her husband across the country in the motorhome. Jean and her sister Ruth cruised to Alaska. She is survived by her loving children: Sharon Nocera of Whitinsville and her former husband Richard Nocera of Newburyport, Msgt. Jack Haskell and his wife Magda of Gig Harbor, Washington and Kim Morese and her husband Robert of Bellingham; her grandchildren: Dr. Lisa Nocera and her husband Jamie Katz of NY, NY, Richard Nocera and his wife Naomi of Brooklyn, NY, Jason Haskell and his wife Sandra of Hawaii, Msgt. Adrienne Watson and her husband Melvin of United Kingdom and Jacob Morese, Berklee student; 7 great grandchildren: Bruno, Lou, Sequoia, Karamia, Alessandra, Isaiah and Joseph; her loving sister Ruth Anderson of Waltham; her dear friend Ginger Walter of Florida and Connecticut and several nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her sisters: Beverly Dugard and Barbara Harper and her grand dog: Hadley. Private funeral and interment.
