On Thursday, April 16, 2015 of Lorton, VA.Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Banko; father of Richard (Kay), Stephen (Lisa), James Banko (Lacy), Ann Marie Frost (James), Dorothy Jaeger (Al), Jean Banko and the late David Banko; brother of Mary Koncak, Nick Banko, Helen Jubinski and Peter Banko; grandfather of Drew (Kami), Carly, Megan, Katie, Andrew and Marion Banko and Bradley and Kevin Frost; great-grandfather of James Banko. Relatives and friends may call at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Dr., Alexandria, VA on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 7600 Old Keene Mill Rd., Springfield, VA on Thursday at 2 p.m. Inurnment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Capital Caring Hospice.
