ANDREW F. McLAUGHLIN February 19, 1965 - October 13, 2017
One year ago today on October 13, 2017 Andrew "Andy" McLaughlin sadly passed away after a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Martie McLaughlin; his children Paige and Evan; his parents Ken and Toni McLaughlin; his brother Doug McLaughlin along with many other relatives. Andy was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Bethesda, MD. After graduating from Walter Johnson High School he attended the University of Delaware where he earned his bachelor's degree. He returned to the area and eventually settled in Gaithersburg, MD. Andy was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed fly fishing, hiking on the canal, reading, and going to his children's various sporting events. A Celebration of Andy's life was held at Rock Creek Mansion where family and friends gathered to tell stories about how Andy touched their lives. Andy is missed every minute of every day.
