CAROL SHREVE Obituary


Carol J. Shreve  
Of Bethesda, MD passed peacefully in the early morning hours of May 9, 2018 at Sibley Hospital after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 71 years old. Carol was born March 3, 1947 on Long Island, NY to Anthony and Antoinette Prastaro. She married Porter Shreve on April 11, 1987 and is survived by him and her only son Tony Serzo as well as a host of other family. Mrs. Shreve was the Director of Development for St. Luke's House in Bethesda from 2002 to 2014 and Mercy Clinic from 2014-2016. She left to pursue a long held dream of obtaining her real estate license so she could help people find and sell their homes. Carol was strongly involved with the Rotary Club of Friendship Heights and Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rotary serving in several capacities including as Club President, 2008-2009. She also participated in Leadership Montgomery . A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 15 at 5 p.m. in the St. Albans chapel in Washington, DC.
