CHARLES T. ACKERMAN
On Saturday, November 6, 2021, CHARLES T. ACKERMAN of Ellicott City, MD. Beloved husband of 48 years to Anne Manning; loving father to Marti, Malia, Chau, Chanh, Zip, Cindy, and Herb; cherished grandfather to Catherine and Justin. He is also survived by six siblings. He was predeceased by his parents and one sibling. Viewing will be held on November 14, 2021, from 3 until 7 p.m. at Harry H. Witzke Family Funeral Home, 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 10431 Twin Rivers Road, Columbia, MD on November 15, 2021, beginning at 12 Noon. The Mass can be viewed by visiting the obituary page on the funeral home website at www.harrywitzkefuneralhome.com

We had 40 years together, in the Air Force, later as co-workers, and always as friends. Charles was a good man, and we all will miss him. Lynn and I offer our condolences to Anne, their children, and his family and friends.
