Dear Judy, Art, and Family and Friends of Christopher,
Please accept our condolences on the death of your beloved, precious Christopher. Our friendship with Judy and Art has been pretty much long-distance, carried on from college days back in the 60's. We really didn't know Christopher or any of Judy and Art's children well, but we stayed in touch over the years and we know that fabulous family values that the Pointers and Saurs upheld were reflected in each of their children. We are disappointed that our prayers weren't answered in the the way that we wished...but we do know that Christopher's courageous and brave fight was strenghtened mightily by the support and love from his aunts, uncles, parents, siblings, friends and caring associates. This family and the example they set is truly a treasure to all of us. God Bless

Chris Pointer Family & Friends:

Chris was truly a stand-up guy. He touched so many lives and peoples hearts. I am a better person for having known him. Baseball season will never be the same. Wherever there was a television, Chris and I would find some way to scream at our teams!

Dear Pointer Family,

My deepest condolences for your loss; Chris was an amazing individual that inspired us all, friends and family alike, to be better. I feel honored to have had the opportunity to not only be friends but to work together as well. I have many fond memories of playing softball and dodge ball with Chris while I was at Union Jacks. He shared so many stories of strength and joy. I shared so many laughs and conversations with him that have changed me forever. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful human being. He will never be forgotten.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I will always picture Chris walking around Union Jacks with a lollipop in his mouth, smile on his face and giving hugs to everyone he saw. He loved life, and was loved by many. In our conversations over the last few months, I was honored to talk in depth to Chris about the greater meaning of life. He always reminded me not to take life for granted, not to sweat the small things, and to find happiness. In the face of such pain and hardship, he had an inner strength that will inspire me forever. He was a true friend, and his memory will live on in my heart forever. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. With loving memories,
