Sorry, I am just finding this 15 years later. I am so sorry to hear of Christy's passing. I know she was a huge influence in your life and the lives of others. I was always amazed at her ability to "see" and loved the stories you told about her. I hope all is well, after so many years. I will always think fondly of Christy Craig.

I met Christy on the internet, watching African wildlife. Yes, watching. We became pretty good friends, I think, despite never having met face to face. She was amazing in so many ways, the world is poorer with her loss. My deepest sympathy to Michael and Christopher. She will be deeply missed.

I knew Christy as her screen name Alphamom. She inspired so many people not only in real life but through out the world. I only knew her via the 'net but she had a profound way of inspiring others by being her valiant self. She always saw the positive and never the negative. She made the world and myself a better person.

Mrs. Craig, as I knew her, was an important part of both my son and daughter's years at Graham Park. No other teacher inspired them in the same way with her intelligence, humor, caring and skill. Mrs. Craig was cool without trying.

As a parent, I saw how much she cared about each of them. And I feel a big loss at her passing.

Christy touched so many lives in her short time with us. She amazed everyone she met. To put it in simple terms she had true grit- to teach students is tough sometimes but imagine teaching them and not being able to see them! From the day she came to Graham Park students appreciate all she brought to the classroom. She will be missed but always remembered. God Bless Christy and her family at this difficult time.

I've known Christy and Michael since our Texas college days--over 30 years. We've had so much fun over the years. Lots of laughs. Lots of great talks. Lots of good advice. I'm going to miss her so very much. She was simply one of a kind. My daughter Vietta and I send our sincere sympathy to Michael, Christopher, and Christy's family.
