LaVerne and Bootney, My deepest sympathy to you and your entire family. I will miss him along with you, especially for all those times he helped me take groceries to the third floor. He was almost apologetic to me when he couldn't help take my groceries up stairs anymore. He was a remarkable neighbor and friend. Just know that he is in a better place, no more pain, resting awaiting reward. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.

I am a life long friend of his wife and a very good friend to Clarence. He will be missed withour a doubt. He always had something clever to say that would make you feel welcomed to his friendship and always something that would make you chuckle. There is a better world that holds him now but his love for his family will always be with them through thick and thin. We loved you Clarence and always will !

Clarence and Lavern was the most happiest couple I have ever had the pleasure to know. I remember all too well the fun of Ridge street, 4th street and just laughing. My heart is sadden and I can not express in words how your lost is shared by many. I am seeking God with his esteem widsom to render peace to you all...Blessing to his soul as the angels welcome him home..

Clarence was like big brother to me he gave me hope, when I was hopeless, wisdom and knowledge when I just wanted to give up, because of him I am a better person. Clarence you are greatly loved and will be greatly missed by all those that were blessed by your presence in their lives. RIP big Bro.
