Cornelius Donoghue

Cornelius "Connie" Donoghue, a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, joined our heavenly father on March 2, 2024, at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife, Sheila, of 51 years; and five children Christine, Patrice, Kimberly (and Stephen), Timothy (and Leslie) and Sean (and Hayley); eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and his sister, Florence Chatowsky. He is preceded in death by his first wife Helene Donoghue (pneumonia); his parents, Cornelius S. Donoghue, Sr and Florence Donoghue; and three sisters, Celine, Joan and Nancy. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the wake on Thursday, March 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home in Fairfax, VA. A funeral mass will be held Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. at St Michael's Catholic Church, Annandale, VA.
