DEBORAH SANDRA CAMPBELL
Deborah Sandra (Hill) Campbell, a retired Administrative Assistant and Legal Secretary to the president of The Newspaper Guild, passed on October 28, 2022 from heart failure in Alexandria, Virginia.
Deborah was born in Washington, DC on October 3, 1949 to Roger "Buck" Hill and Helen (Weaver) Hill. Deborah graduated from the Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, DC. She also attended Northern Virginia Community College. She has been a resident of Alexandria, Virginia since 1975. Deborah was a fun loving, caring, devoted wife and great friend. She married her high school soulmate, Lynnwood Campbell, Jr. from Western High School in Washington, DC on October 5, 1968 in Alexandria, Virginia. This union produced a charming daughter, Robin LeAnn Campbell who resides in Pennsylvania. Deborah leaves a host of family members and friends to mourn. A private memorial dinner will be held later. Her remains will rest at Arlington Cemetery. Donations in her honor should be made to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, 4101 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22302.
