Gary Whitaker Obituary
On Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Washington Hospital Center. Beloved husband of Wanda Whitaker; loving father of Stephen Whitaker, Shelitta Sheffield and step-daughter, Natasha Wilson. Also survived by parents, Aaron E. Whitaker (Mamie); two brothers, Dr. Aaron T. and Rev. Charles E. Whitaker; one sister, Barbara Whitaker Green; nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends. On Friday, December 2, friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. until time of services, 11:30 a.m. at Berean Baptist Church, 924 Madison St., N.W. Interment Washington National Cemetery. Although I have not seen Gary since High School @ Coolidge, I remember him well and remember him being just a nice guy! He will truly be missed. My prayers go out to his family, friends, loved ones.

GARY HAS GONE HOME TO OUR FATHER'S HOUSE ABOVE THAT HAS MANY MANSIONS AND WHERE A SPECIAL PLACE FOR HIM HAS BEEN SET ASIDE. I NO THAT HE WILL BE MISSED BUT I ALSO NO THAT HE IS NOW WHERE WE ALL HOPE TO BE ONE DAY. HOME WITH THE LORD.
