JOHN STRONG Obituary
JOHN DOUGLAS STRONG
Of Brandywine, MD, was called home on May 24, 2016, after a battle with liver cancer, he passed away surrounded by family. John is survived by his wife, Dorothy of 57 years; children, Sandra, John (Meretta), Steven (Denise) and Jennifer. Also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his brother, Joe (Donna). Family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home. Inc., 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd., Clinton, MD on Thursday June 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 3, at 12:30 p.m. at Most Holy Rosary Church, 11704 Duley Station Rd., Upper Marlboro, MD. Interment following in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. In lieu of flowers, charitable giving in his memory may be directed to The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, 750 E.
